The AUB Summit on Artificial Intelligence and the Media was launched on Monday 04 March 2024, with great success at the Yaoundé Conference Center in the presence of more than 900 Media students, Researchers, Decision-makers, IT Experts, Journalists and other Stakeholders.
Chaired by Cameroon’s Minister of Communication, the opening ceremony was marked by enriching discussions that opened up debates on relevant issues that the summit will seek to address concerning Africa's readiness to incorporate AI into the evolution and dynamics of the media.
Cameroon’s Minister of Post and Telecommunications and other personnalities including Gabon’s Minister of Communication, Mrs Laurence Ndong, brought more light and added value to the subject.
Day one activities were marked by various presentations and the launching of the AUB’s Foundation against Cancer (AFAC).
