AUB’s Artificial Intelligence Summit: Preparations are well underway
From March 4 to 6, 2024, Yaoundé will host the African Union of Broadcasting’s Summit on artificial intelligence and the media. At the meeting, the African media as a whole, for which the biggest challenge remains the daily management of technological advances. The Organizing Committee is hard at work for the success of this major event. A series of meetings both on an African and international level.
On January 17, 2024, the AUB delegation held a working session in Yaoundé with the UNESCO Regional Director for Central Africa, Mr. Paul Coustère.
For the Director General of the African Union of Broadcasting, Grégoire Ndjaka, it is about reflecting on the future of African media and how they embrace artificial intelligence as a powerful tool for innovation.
In Yaoundé, debates will focus on ethics, automation of editorial processes, and the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the diversity and integrity of information.
