AUB’s attractives Media Center

The African Union of Broadcasting (AUB) is recognized for its informational and communicational importance to structures promoting large-scale events.

To this end, Cameroon hosts two major events, if not the most important on the sports scene in Africa. Anything that justifies the influx of national and international media in the land of the Indomitable Lions.

For this, the AUB, as an African organization at the service of the Media, offers journalists a welcoming environment to carry out their work dubbed AUB Media Center. It is located not far from the Yaoundé Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium, rue Bicec.

No need to run to find a calm environment conducive to reflection. The union now takes care of this and provides media workers in Africa and elsewhere with computers, a cafe and a terrace for interviews and news stories.

This Center is a plus to the other frameworks already offered by the Cameroonian government as well as major partners such as the African Football Confederation (CAF). It emanates from the desire of the AUB General Directorate as well as its Executive Council to give the African press the place it deserves on the world stage.

The AUB Media Center is set to be made permanent. It will also welcome journalists at the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations and beyond.

A vision that the African Union of Broadcasting intends to promote in the all-digital age.
