CHAN Total 2020: a second crown for Morocco
The Atlas Lions, who dominated the competition from the begining to the end, won the final of the sixth edition of the African Nations Championship (2-0) against Mali on Sunday, February 07, 2021.
After an unsuccessful first half, dominated by the battle of the midfield, the foals of Houciné Ammouta from Morocco, returned from break more incisive.
Soufiane Bouftini scored the first goal in the 69th minute. 10 minutes later, Ayoub El Kaabi, top scorer in the history of CHAN added the second goal.
The Eagles of Mali, who created the first opportunities of the match, ended second in the competition as in 2016, in Morocco. A performance greatly welcomed by all the supporters who made the trip to the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaoundé.
